ABOUT TEKNOSET:

Progressive TECHNO POP music is the brainchild of some distinguished
synthesists who started their careers spending a lot of time in sound
design. TEKNOSET is a bank of 100 techno-inspired sound programs for
the KORG 01/W music workstation, one of the most evocative synthesizers
ever created. This package includes a demo-sequence for the 01/W-FD,
and is distributed as a free contribution shareware product through the
BBS networks under two formats: MIDI dump and STORER (the well-known PC
shareware librarian).  Only the STORER version includes the demo.

Once you have decompressed the various files (including this .TXT), the
current directory will contain both the versions (MIDI dump and STORER)
of the sound set, and the demo-sequence file (STORER  only).



LOADING PROCEDURE:
------------------

 A) MIDI DUMP: In order to load the sounds into your workstation you 
    need a sys-ex dump manager software. Many professional sequencing
    programs (like Cakewalk) include this function as an option, and
    there is a number of shareware alternatives (look for them in the
    file list of your favourite BBS...).
    
    You'll have to send ALL PROGRAMS, ALL COMBINATIONS, GLOBAL and DRUMS
    DATA separately (.DMP files).

    
 B) STORER ZeroOne: If you own an 01/W-FD then use the "Load All Data"
    option from the "File" menu. 

    If your model isn't an FD (or a PRO-PROx), then you'll have to 
    load PROG/COMBI, GLOBAL and DRUM-KIT data separately, using the
    proper options from the "File" menu, and you won't be able to load
    the SEQUENCE file.
    
    
TEKNOSET is a free contribution shareware product.
